Frequently Asked Questions

  • While other oat products are rolled or steel cut, we jokingly say that no oats were harmed in the making of our product. Pop Oats awesomely both start and finish with an oat groat, which is very simply a whole oat kernel with the hull removed. Less processing equals more of nature's goodness!

As for their texture and roastiness, we often hear folks make references to sunflower seeds, corn nuts, and popcorn…with more oatrageous flavors of course!

  • You're only limited by your imagination - whatever floats your oat! We enjoy them as a healthy on-the-go snack one small handful at a time, though Pop Oats also give an amazing, crunchy contrast to salads, yogurt, and ice cream - try them all and you’ll thank us later!

  • Parents love Pop Oats because they’re convenient, healthy, and low in sugar - kids love them equally much because they taste great! We still vividly remember a 7-year-old boy who patiently enjoyed nearly a dozen samples at a store demo once while we chatted with his parents - and we were told he was a picky eater!

Like other seed and nut products, Pop Oats aren’t as well suited for very young children who are still developing the ability to reliably eat solid foods.

  • Pop Oats do not contain any of the 9 major allergens, though the product is produced on private equipment in a facility that may process peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, and soy.

  • We’re flattered and would love to connect - the VIP Program and Wholesale areas at the top of our website are the best place to kick things off. Please take a moment to share your thoughts on either and we’ll be in touch soon.

  • Oats are naturally gluten-free, though occasionally come into contact with gluten-containing grains such as wheat, rye, and barley throughout the supply chain. We understand this may work for some folks and not others, and we ultimately expect to get our gluten-free certification to provide stronger peace of mind for everyone.

  • Pop Oats’ entire flavor family is proudly vegan-friendly, and the vegan community seems to particularly enjoy our Wild White Cheddar (with its dairy-free cheesy seasoning) and Swell Salted Caramel varieties.

  • We accept PayPal, Apple Pay, and all major credit cards (processed through our third-party vendor, Stripe).
